Rhaeadr Ddu and Coed Ganllwyd Walk
There is an area in mid wales called very catchily (not) – Rhaeadr Ddu and Coed Ganllwyd. There are superb trails and great waterfalls. This video I hope captures some of it – with canoeists making their descent of the swollen waters.
Swans at Sneem
We went to southern Ireland – to a small town called Sneem and there I saw these swans.

Skellig St Michael is a ruined monastery off the coast of Southern Ireland. It is amazing.

Rodney’s Pillar
Rodney’s Pillar is, as the name suggests, a pillar on top of a very large hill Breidden Hill. The hill is an extinct volcano which sits between Oswestry and Welshpool. It gives wonderful views over the local countryside. I went in May 2021.
Churnet Valley
The Churnet Valley Railway is some 5.5 miles of track near Stoke On Trent run by volunteers. We caught one of their steam trains in May.
