It was 2002 and we had got involved with a theatrical troupe who called themselves the Cheeky Chappies. I decided to have them do a version of their show called A Christmas Carol. I hired a hall and invited everyone along for a free stage show on a Saturday afternoon bringing their children. It became apparent that the place was not going to be packed and I ended up having to strong arm people to come along to the show. In reality, it was a great afternoon and everyone enjoyed it.
