We have been to lots of exhibitions over the years., Here are some of the more memorable ones, where I could film

Reubens At The RA

Rubens and His Legacy brought together masterpieces produced during his lifetime, as well as major works by great artists who were influenced by him in the generations that followed. We saw the influence of Rubens in the prints of Picasso and Rembrandt, in the portraiture of Van Dyck, in the hunting scenes and devotional works of Delacroix, and in the landscapes of Constable and Gainsborough. It was a far reaching and remarkable legacy. It was one of the biggest spectacles of 2015.

V&A Ocean Liner
We went to the V&A for their Ocean Liner exhibition on Saturday 17 March 2018. These are our impressions. J

Dior At The V&A
Dior at the V&A was a wildly popular exhibition – I hope this video gives you some idea of just why.

RA Summer Exhibition 2015
The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition is a phenomenon. Over a thousand paintings are on display and most are for sale. It is a tradition that goes back nearly 300 years. This year was notable for the garish colours a few of the rooms were painted and the vinyl covered staircase. Here are my video impressions.

Turner, Walsall November 2017
My review of the exhibition at the new Walsall Art Gallery Legacies – JMW Turner contemporary art practice, November 2017. It’s well worth going not least because you will probably be the only person there. And yes I did ask about photography and yes it was OK. Thank you Walsall

Whitworth Gallery, Manchester
We went to the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester on July 25 2015. It is an amazing space with a great permanent collection and even more amazing visiting displays. I was wowed.

Beamhurst Museum, Near Uttoxeter
Located on the A522 at  Beamhurst, Nr Uttoxeter is this museum. It is a personal and very eccentric endeavour. It consists of a vast collection of clocks, prams, enamel signs, bikes, music boxes, brewery memorabilia, petrol globes, pumps, barrel organ, bottles, small carriages, radios, pottery, lamps, telephone boxes and much much more. It’s all non pc, memorable, interesting and weird – and don’t mention the coffin! It is only open on a few days per year – check the web before you visit. But do visit!

Europe’s BIggest Steam Toy Fair
I don’t think there would be much competition for the title. It was fun. Shot Leicester England February 1 2015
