Initially, I had this idea when I found a firm of solicitors in Settle called Goad and Butcher and went out to seek others that may have names which are interesting and or amusing. You do have to wonder sometimes. These names are taken from the online UK directory Yell. Sometimes I’ve included the category of the business but when it is obvious I haven’t bothered.
