I managed to get an absolutely fantastic deal on a Land Rover Defender 90 – just £3K upfront with £300 a month for 18 months from January 2025. A 60 grand van/car for £8K for 18 months – wow! It’s the 3-litre diesel model with permanent four-wheel drive, meaning it can tackle any terrain with ease. From winding country lanes to rugged off-road trails, this beast is built to go anywhere. With its commanding driving position, impressive road presence, and whisper-quiet performance, every journey is epic. Part of the dream was to head off on countryside adventures, exploring places well off the beaten track. So far, it’s been brilliant – though the sat nav seems to have its own ideas about directions!
